ASWB’s support of nursing mothers

The Association of Social Work Boards recognizes and respects the needs of nursing mothers. It has been our long-standing practice to provide alternative arrangements for nursing mothers sitting for the social work licensing exams, and we are committed to evaluating our current procedures to improve processes.

We acknowledge that we must continually review any policies that might prevent a candidate from having a positive testing experience and are currently evaluating changes to the documentation requirements to streamline the process for nursing mothers.

ASWB office closures

ASWB offices will be closed Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.

ASWB offices will also be closed for a summer break from Monday, June 29 through Friday, July 3. Please note that some activities may experience processing delays during this time period.

Most registrations, scheduling, and score reporting will continue through ASWBCentral. Requests requiring staff attention will be processed in early July. Most inquiries can expect a response within three business days of our return to the office.
