ASWB announces the publication of the 2026 Examination Program Yearbook. The 17th edition of the yearbook continues to communicate ASWB’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and meeting and exceeding standards in the examination development process. Every question writer, Examination Committee and Form Review Team volunteer, and consultant is listed. The publication also describes other volunteer activities that contributed to the August launch of the 2026 Social Work Licensing Exams.

“With a new exam launched this year, more people than ever before became involved in exam development,” says Director of Examination Development Carl Hokanson. “The new exam reflects the collective efforts of a remarkable community. We are grateful to everyone who contributed their experiences and expertise to the development of social work’s entry-to-practice competence assessments and are proud of what we accomplished together.”
