Candidate Services Specialist I


Join our team and be a part of an association whose mission is public protection! The Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), a nonprofit organization based in Culpeper, Virginia, is seeking two full-time Candidate Services Specialists I. This role provides support to candidates for exam registration and ASWB products via phone and online ticketing system (HelpDesk) and uses documented policies and standards to provide information to candidates regarding examination administration and other general topics related to licensure. The Candidate Service Specialist I works independently to provide online support through ticketing or chat systems. This is NOT a telecommuting opportunity.

Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • High school diploma with related-work experience; Associate or Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • Experience with providing online customer support preferred
  • Proficient in general computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as experience with standard office equipment
  • Two years of office or customer service experience, preferably in a position handling a high volume of telephone calls and/or chat
  • Data entry proficiency

 Competitive Salary & Benefits Package including health, dental, life insurance, PTO, parental leave, and retirement!     Hybrid work week is 37.5 hours Monday – Friday; overtime eligible.
