IMPORTANT NOTICE:
ASWB Board of Directors, Committee Chairs, and 2008 Nominating Committee members:
  1. Register for the conference. Fill out the form and fax or mail it to ASWB.
  2. Contact Covington Travel to make your airline reservations at 888-295-0004 or email swboards@covtrav.com. Our primary agent is Brenda Martin, but there are several agents who can help you. Airline arrangements must be made before April 1, 2008.
  3. Hotel reservations will be made for you according to the information you provide at the bottom of the registration form. Please do not call the hotel directly.

Rates will be honored three days before and three days after the meeting, based on availability. You acn also fax the hotel reservation form to (406) 862-0326.

Remember to make arrangements for ground transportation directly with the Grouse Mountain Lodge reservations department.

Transportation

Unless you are a member of the ASWB Board of Directors, a Committee Chair, or one of the 2007 Nominating Committee members, you are responsible for all travel, lodging, and airport transfer costs.

Airplane
Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) - www.iflyglacier.com - offers frequent flights daily and is conveniently located 15 minutes from Whitefish and Grouse Mountain Lodge. Glacier Park International Airport is serviced by Northwest, Delta/SkyWest, Horizon/Alaska Air, US Airways, and United Airlines.
Train
Amtrak’s Empire Builder pulls into downtown Whitefish at the historic depot at the end of Central Avenue twice daily. Whitefish is the busiest stop on the Empire Builder’s Seattle – Chicago route, very popular with skiers and summer visitors alike.
Ground transportation (see note under lodging):
Grouse Mountain Lodge provides a complimentary shuttle to and from Glacier Park International Airport (FCA), Amtrak Depot, and selected downtown Whitefish locations.

Continuing Education Credit

Approximately 13 hours of CEUs may be obtained by attending the entire conference. Participants will be required to fill out exit evaluation forms for each session attended in order to receive credit. Credit verification will be sent to attendees within 60 days following the completion of the conference.

Due to record amounts of snow, Glacier National Park will not officially open until June 17, 2008, so this is a chance to get a glimpse behind the scenes. The trip will begin with views of Lake MacDonald located just inside of Glacier National Park’s boundaries. Next stop is the Izaak Walton Inn for lunch and a chance to stretch your legs on one of their numerous hiking trails. Finally, weather permitting; the tour will end with a trip to the Mariah Pass, for a chance to overlook Glacier National Park.
