Lodging:

If you are not funded by ASWB, please call the hotel at (866) 630-0704 or (401) 276-0010 before October 14, 2008 to receive the special conference rate. Make sure you refer to the Association of Social Work Boards when making your reservations. You can also book online at www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/pvdbr  using code aswaswa. Special Conference Rates:

Standard Rooms: $175+tax single/double occupancy

Check-in: 3:00 pm                   Check-out: 12:00 pm

Please advise hotel of all early departures upon check- in as the hotel will penalize one night’s room and tax for  early departures.

Delegates, Members of the ASWB Board of Directors, and Committee Chairs:

1. Register for the conference. Fill out the form completely and fax or mail to ASWB or register online at www.aswb.org.

2. Contact Covington Travel to make your airline reservations at 888-295-0004 or email at swboards@covtrav.com. Our primary agent is Brenda Martin, but there are several agents available to help you. Airline arrangements must be made by October 14, 2008.

3. Hotel reservations will be made for you according to the information provided at the bottom of the registration form. Please do not call the hotel directly. 
   

Transportation:

Airport: 
T.F. Green International Airport (PVD) is located approximately 9 miles from the Providence Renaissance and is served by 8 major airlines including Air Canada.  Check out the airport’s website

Train:
The Providence Amtrak Station (PVD) is located 0.4 of a mile from
The Renaissance Providence. You can search for schedules using
www.amtrak.com.

Taxis:
Taxi cabs are available on the lower concourse of the T.F. Green 
International Airport outside of baggage claim. Average fare to the Providence Renaissance is approximately $30. To schedule your departure it is recommended that you call ahead to arrange a cab. D.R. Taxi Cabs at 401-640-9689 is available 24-hours a day.

Parking:
The Providence Renaissance provides valet parking with in/out
privileges for $25 a night.
