ASWB provides support for telephone communications with the hearing impaired. Hearing impaired candidates may contact the Candidate Registration Center through their local relay services by dialing 1-888-332-3926. This number is for use by hearing impaired candidates ONLY.

Candidates who have questions about the ASWB examinations, or who need special accommodations under the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), can contact the national office by calling 1-800-225-6880, or through email at . Staff at the national office can arrange accommodations, and can provide you with information on the examinations, how to contact the testing vendor, and individual jurisdiction regulations.

Some states allow special provisions for candidates for whom English is a second language. Usually, these accommodations involve the use of a translating dictionary and extra time. Contact your state board to find out if these provisions are made in your state.
