ASWB holds two major meetings
each year-an educational meeting in the spring, and an annual business
meeting in the fall.
The ASWB Spring Education Meetings typically highlight
an element of social work and its impact on regulation of the profession.
Recent meeting topics have included supervision, social work ethics,
electronic therapy, and boundary violations.
The ASWB Annual Meetings are intensive business meetings during which
the ASWB Delegate Assembly discusses the overall operation of the association,
from financial records to examination administration to long-range goals.
To ensure full participation, the association funds travel and lodging
for one delegate from each member jurisdiction to attend this meeting.
