ASWB provides support for telephone communications with the hearing impaired. Hearing impaired candidates may contact the Candidate Registration Center through their local relay services by dialing 1-888-332-3926. This number is for use by hearing impaired candidates ONLY.

Candidates who have questions about the ASWB examinations, or who need special accommodations because of disabilities, can contact the Candidate Registration Center by calling 1-888-579-3926, or through email at info@aswb.org. ASWB staff can arrange accommodations, and can provide you with information on the examinations, how to contact the testing vendor, and individual jurisdiction regulations.

Some jurisdictions allow special arrangements for candidates for whom English is a second language. Usually, these arrangements involve the use of a translating dictionary and extra time. Contact your social work licensing board to find out if these arrangements are made in your jurisdiction.
